erynn: Gaelic merman image (all your books!)
About half a dozen or so people came by today, some from the Everett Pagan meetup group. I sold the mostly-complete set of Man, Myth and Magic, which was the next biggest item in the book listings, so that makes both the top dollar items sold. I had speech briefly with monkeyboy about picking up the folklore dictionary for [livejournal.com profile] martianmooncrab. Bj came by today and bought a huge bunch of books, and invited me over for dinner at some point soon. He also put a boot in my ass for not calling him about some healing work, so I will talk to him when there is dinner.

[livejournal.com profile] mael_brigde will be coming down in July for a brief visit, so it will be lovely to see her for a bit. [livejournal.com profile] gra_is_stor and I went out to the DeWycks place this evening and hung out for a while. There was supposed to be a bonfire, but they were just arriving home from the Fremont solstice parade when we got there, so it had not been lit by 10pm when we left. I got to pet horses, yay. :D The DeWycks might be over tomorrow to peruse the book collection, and the Irish class has been informed that they can paw through the collection as well, before and after class, if they like.

With any luck [livejournal.com profile] gra_is_stor and I will take her little inflatable boat out on the lake tomorrow for a brief Manannán midsummer ritual, and some paddling about. I'm hoping the weather will hold fine.

This week should be time spent cataloguing the books/movies/music that are left after everyone's been in, then I'll list them for folks in the US (I am not going to even try to deal with overseas postage). I feel like I've been doing really well so far with the sales. Nobody came from the craigslist posting, though I had one actual inquiry about location. Another person emailed me repeatedly asking if I had anything free I was giving away. As if one request with a "no" wasn't good enough. I think I got five emails from this person in the past two days. One inquiry I would not have minded, but five was really just annoying.

Hopefully, this week I can also get [livejournal.com profile] gra_is_stor to take me down into Everett for a couple of things I need to do toward assembling my visa application. I need to get fingerprinted (police station) and get SSDI financial records from the Social Security office. I don't know if I can get VA records from an online request or if I'll have to go hang out at the federal building down in Seattle and actually speak to a human being.

I sent in an inquiry Friday to a local Windermere office, as I was told that they deal with property management, about renting my condo. I haven't heard back but I hope to maybe by Tuesday. If I don't get an email, again, time to actually show up and speak to a person face to face. The sooner I can get moving on these things the better.

Lots of stuff going on, tired Erynn is tired, and things are progressing reasonably well for the moment.
